London School of Economics (LSE) Director, Professor Craig Calhoun, has decided not to seek a second five-year term in post in 2017.

Making the announcement in an all-staff email, Calhoun wrote: “I remain enthusiastic about the LSE and its potential. Serving the School remains one of the most important things I have done. And I will continue to serve to the best of my ability in the remainder of my term.”
