Professor Deborah Johnston MBE is vice chancellor at the University of Bedfordshire.
Previously, she was Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic Framework) at London South Bank University. Her academic work focuses on the political economy of poverty and wellbeing. She is chair of the national body supporting the Disabled Student Commitment, Universities Disability and Access Ambassador, and a member of the OfS Disability in Higher Education Panel.
