The think tank is respected in the media and by policymakers and Hillman wields his political and media skills to gain coverage for HEPI’s work and to influence the debate – much more effectively than any of his predecessors. However, he’s perhaps a little held back by some of the more traditional forces that govern HEPI (and the sector) and it’s probable that Hillman and HEPI unleashed would be able to make an even bigger dent in the policy universe.
