About the role

This is an opportunity to join the University’s Institute of Policing (IoP) in a creative and proactive communications role, based within the Institute of Policing but closely linked to the Marketing, Communications and Public Relations department. You will support the IoP team in ensuring all communication channels are up to date, with particular focus on communication plans for partners and students as well as staff and student events. You will support the team’s need to capture the attention of the broad audience of staff and students to drive the Institute of Policing’s reputation and support employee engagement and student satisfaction, through the creation of eye catching and informative multimedia content.

The preferred applicant will possess:

Creative brilliance with the ability to generate and communicate thought provoking new ideas and approaches. A flexible and committed approach to work with the ability to generate and communicate new ideas creatively
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively with a range of individuals both orally and in writing.
Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to deliver projects on time, including the ability to organise and priories a personal workload to precise deadlines.
Ability to compile and deliver evaluation reports, pulling information from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive picture of delivery and impact
