Imperial War Museums are seeking an entrepreneurial Head for our new IWM Institute for the public understanding of war and conflict. With a focus on public understanding, the Institute creates a hub for our research projects as an Independent Research Organisation (IRO) and an innovation centre for our seasons of exhibitions, events and digital content finding creative ways of engaging the public with our often challenging subject matter.
You are probably working in the Higher Education, media or public policy sector with a passion for current affairs, history and public engagement. You are used to working with world class experts on the national stage on issues high on the public agenda. Collaborative and personable with senior management experience in a complex organisation you know how to leverage internal and external relationships and resources to make things happen and make a difference.
