We are seeking an exceptional and strategic leader, aligned to our values to lead an award winning Marketing and Communications Team to the next level of impact and influence, to drive further change in our marketing performance at home and internationally.

As a member of the University’s Leadership Team you will participate fully in the management of BU, taking responsibility for all marketing and communication activity.  You will provide senior level, expert and influential marketing, communication and public relations advice across the University, including up to and at Board level.   Through effective brand management you will promote and enhance the University’s external reputation and shape and deliver our strategic marketing and communication approach to further enhance BU’s reputation locally, nationally and internationally.

Candidates will possess substantial relevant experience and a strong marketing and communication background. You will be able to evidence a proven track record in delivering marketing and communication strategies which have had a positive impact.  In addition you will have experience of change management, be an innovative thinker, motivated to success and possess substantial and successful experience at a senior level.
