About You

With well-developed analytical, statistical, technical database and reporting skills, you will be able to provide concise accurate data analysis as required by the University to fulfil its external reporting and monitoring obligations.

You will have the high-level communication skills needed to outline and discuss complex concepts with senior staff. You will have excellent technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and desirably have experience in querying Oracle databases queries using the Structured Query Language (SQL). A good understanding of the Higher Education Sector is also essential as is the ability to critically review and develop new processes and systems.

To be successful you will be a logical thinker who is able to navigate issues, with minimal supervision, to deliver a high quality outcome, on time.

 

About the Role

You will be expected support the University in the collation, analysis and submission of data required to meet its external reporting requirements. This includes the production of reports required by the University’s regulator and funding bodies. In undertaking this role you will be required to work both independently and as member of the unit balancing competing priorities to predetermined timelines. You will also support the University in meeting its internal reporting commitments, working alongside colleagues within the planning unit.
