The Assistant Director (Strategy, Quality and Planning) is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of the University Access and Participation Plan. Overseeing activity concerning the preparation and delivery of the APP, monitoring and reporting progress and ensuring adequate governance of the process.

Closely collaborating with Senior Leadership Teams across the Deputy Vice Chancellor’s portfolio the postholder also leads the management and strategic development of Student Experience and Learning and Teaching business processes and infrastructure ensuring consistency of quality. Helping to set the strategic direction and converting this into effective localised delivery through the communication of clear objectives, the implementation of effective processes and a clear analysis of stakeholder requirements.

As a member of the wider Student and Library Services leadership team will set the strategic direction for business services and work in partnership with colleagues to provide an outstanding student experience. ensuring a collaborative approach to the delivery of services to students and act as an ambassador for change.
