The Head of Policy and Advocacy will build AGCAS’s influence as the expert organisation for policy consultations and opinion on HE student career development and graduate employment.

You will have demonstrable experience of advocating policy, engaging proactively with the media or as a journalist as well as establishing, developing and sustaining working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

You will lead on the use of synthesized research, knowledge and expertise from cross-cutting areas to inform policy, and support raising the profile of AGCAS and enhance the organisation’s strategic positioning.

You will have experience of leading, identify funding for, and develop research projects.

You will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a range of individuals and organisations and have experience of providing strategic recommendations to Boards and Senior teams. You will have experience of the HE Careers Sector.

You will manage the Policy and Research Manager, Communications Manager and Publications Team.

Location:

As AGCAS is a remote working organisation, you will be home based within the UK, with UK travel and overnight stays as part of the role.
