A new Head of Organisation Development is now being sought to work closely with colleagues in the department and across the institution. The role reports to the Director of HR and OD.

  • The Head of Organisation Development will be accountable for the effective leadership of the OD team and will have the responsibility for shaping developing and delivering a strategically aligned OD service and related learning and development provision.
  • Working closely with the Director of HR and OD, the post-holder will develop and implement the University’s Organisation Development and Learning and Development Strategy and operational plan as a key enabler of the overall People Strategy.
  • A member of the HR leadership team; developing and delivering a strategically aligned OD service and provision, the Head of Organisation Development will be a confident communicator and manager of people. You will have a commitment to professional excellence and proven experience of developing an effective and innovative approach to working with both professional and academic colleagues, to ensure that staff are supported to realise their potential and understand their contribution to the University’s goals.
  • Experience of delivering strategically aligned executive and leadership development programmes, and of supporting organisations through periods of significant change, would be particularly relevant.
