About You
With very well developed analytical, statistical, technical database and reporting skills, you will be able to provide concise accurate data analysis as required by the University to fulfil its reporting obligations and to manage the operations of the organisation.
You will have the high-level communication skills needed to outline and discuss complex concepts with senior staff within the University’s Academic Faculties and the University Directorate. You will have excellent technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and desirably in developing Oracle databases queries using SQL. A thorough understanding of the Higher Education Sector is also essential as is the ability to work to deadlines whilst retaining focus on high quality provision.
To be successful you will be a logical thinker who is able to independently navigate issues to deliver a high quality outcome, on time.
About the Role
You will lead the University’s work focussed on the operation of the University planning process and the provision of benchmarked performance measurement information. In undertaking this role you will be required to work both independently and as member of the unit balancing competing priorities to predetermined timelines. You will also support the University in meeting its external reporting commitments, working alongside colleagues within the planning unit.
