About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to be a key member of the President and Vice-Chancellor’s Office. You will take overall leadership for all agenda management and research activities and will consistently deliver high-level support for the President and Vice-Chancellor and the University Leadership Team. You will horizon scan to identify and advise on significant strategic issues and act on behalf of the President and Vice-Chancellor when required.
The Chief of Staff plays an essential role towards the executive management of the University, and will also contribute to the Professional Services Leadership Team. Working as the point of liaison between the President and Vice-Chancellor’s Office and the wider University, you will be responsible for liaising and negotiating with senior colleagues.
About you
You will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as highly developed networking and leadership abilities in order to influence colleagues across the University. You will also be adept at planning and delivering solutions in a fast-paced environment and will demonstrate a commitment to support the strategic aims of the University.
