Thank you for your interest in this survey, which is targeted at educators employed by UK universities and other providers of higher education with direct responsibility for learning and teaching and experience of delivering or supporting digitally-enabled learning and teaching provision between March 2020-present.

This can include “third space professional” roles such as learning development, education development and learning technology, and leadership roles such as heads of department and deans, as well as lecturers who are active in teaching. It includes those employed on a casual or part-time basis as well as full-time.

We use the term “digitally-enabled” at times to describe a continuum of the extent of adoption and integration of digital technologies in learning and teaching rather than offering a distinction between “face to face” and “online” that we believe is not appropriate to the contemporary learning environment. However, when we reference learning and teaching during Covid-19 we sometimes specifically refer to online and blended learning in recognition of the exceptional circumstances.

The survey will ask you questions about:

  • Your experience of digitally-enabled learning and teaching during Covid-19
  • How Covid-19 has impacted digitally-enabled learning and teaching in your subject or institution
  • Your view of student learning during Covid-19
  • Your priorities for digitally-enabled teaching and learning after the pandemic

The data you provide us will be kept strictly confidential and anonymised in reporting. You can withdraw from the research at any time. No individual university or HE provider will be named in the reporting from the research. The findings will be reported on Wonkhe.com.

At the end of the survey you will be offered the opportunity to enter your name into a prize draw to win £150 in vouchers and an equivalent donation to the charity of your choice. Your contact details will be retained only for the purpose of the draw and will not be shared.
