Tomasz Liskiewicz is Professor of Tribology and Surface Engineering and Head of the Department of Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University. His research centres on the optimisation and measurement of functional surfaces. He also leads Surface Ventures, a not-for-profit initiative supporting education in the materials science community, and is co-author of The Ph.D. Code, published by Springer.
