Rod Bristow was formerly President of Pearson’s Global Online Learning business, and Pearson’s businesses in the UK. Online learning was the growth engine of the company in 2020 – including partnerships with Arizona State University and King’s College London, and the operation of over 40 fully online schools. The UK business includes publishing, assessment, and qualifications – with over £1bn in revenues and 5000 employees. Rod is a trustee of BMAT multi-academy trust, Harlow College and Education and Employers Taskforce, and is a member of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force.
