Rebecca Parks is Group Principal of Salford City College Group. Rebecca has over 15 years of experience working in further education, ten of which have been spent in leadership and management. Her journey began as an teacher of science and psychology.
Rebecca’s forte is curriculum and quality improvement. As Group Principal she has developed curriculum across the city that is academically rigorous but responsive to the evolving needs of both learners and employers. She is committed to leading the college to be outstanding in everything it does, meeting the needs of all its learners and providing an outstanding resource for the local community. Rebecca is a school governor playing a vital role in helping schools run effectively and current vice chair of GMColleges. This role enables a collective voice for the sector, helps drive economic growth and influence policy change.
