Damayanti Chatterjee is a Director at Public First in the Data and Modelling team.
Prior to joining Public First, she worked for a political pollster, producing policy analysis and election modelling for parties across the English-speaking world. This included building and designing Multilevel Regression and Poststratification (MRP) models to produce seat projections for high-profile national elections, as well as designing bespoke modelling to investigate empirical trends in partisanship and the impact of economic trends in vote choice for political parties and the financial services sector.
Previously, Damayanti was a College Lecturer at the University of Oxford and spearheaded research projects into 20th century British political and economic history, the UK housing stock, and NHS deficit reduction strategies.
