Beth Hocking is a doctoral graduate of Imperial College London. All views expressed are based on her research and do not reflect university policy. Her study focused on access to elite mathematics across four English universities and examined the effects of admissions testing through in-depth interviews with students, academics, teachers and sector stakeholders.
