What you’ll be doing

As Senior Consultant for EDI, you’ll lead on the design, development and delivery of high-quality EDI content and solutions.

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be the expert we turn to for relevant, leading-edge approaches to EDI. Working across key projects as well as reports, blogs and vlogs, you’ll weave a deep understanding of the EDI landscape into impactful thought leadership.

In addition, you’ll act as programme director for complex programmes and consultancy projects. Contributing to the planning and delivery of our annual operational plan is also a vital part of your work — your efforts will help us drive ever-higher standards in higher education.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a highly credible, driven leader with a track record of making an impact in the EDI space. Being able to successfully shape EDI solutions and influence organisational change will be important in this role, as will a contemporary understanding of the EDI landscape.

You will have proven experience in design and delivery of EDI-focused programmes, consultancy and resources, with a particular focus on inclusive approaches within leadership and organisations and working with leaders at all levels, including senior leaders.

Whether you are an EDI generalist, or have a particular focus such as disability, social mobility you will take a holistic and intersectional approach, recognising the connections and dependencies that support institutional change.

We are particularly keen to strengthen our expertise in inclusive learning and teaching and in inclusive leadership, as well as good campus relations.

Using your wealth of experience as a Head of EDI (or as a similar role), you’ll be able to navigate EDI policies and collaborate with a wide range of people to bring about positive, lasting change.

We’re also looking for someone who recognises the value of working within a charitable organisation, who is ambitious and curious and really want to make a difference..
