Alaa Garad is a Professor of Strategic Learning and Business Excellence and President of the Stirling Centre for Strategic Learning and Innovation.
Professor Alaa Garad is an internationally recognised Business Excellence and Strategic Learning strategist, senior executive leader, and “Pracademic,” combining over 30 years of industry leadership with academic scholarship. He is Founder and President of the Stirling Centre for Strategic Learning and Innovation, leading a global network of experts in executive education, organisational transformation, and learning-driven strategy.
He is the creator of the Learning-Driven Organisation Model, integrating organisational learning, innovation, foresight, and performance excellence to help organisations navigate complexity and achieve sustainable excellence.
Professor Garad has authored five books and over 470 articles. He is Founding Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Strategy and Organisational Learning, a member of ISO Technical Committee TC260, Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), and Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE).
His contributions were recognised with the UK Headline Excellence Award, presented by HRH The Princess Royal under the auspices of the British Quality Foundation.
