Marcela Cazzoli is Professor of Spanish and Applied Linguistics and Director of the MA TESOL and Applied Linguistics at Durham University. She is Vice Chair of the University Council for Languages and works on language education policy, multilingualism, translanguaging and widening participation in languages. Her work focuses particularly on the relationship between language, identity and social justice, and on the role of universities in sustaining language learning in the UK.
