A league table with a slightly different emphasis

Some of the places in the top 100 are filled by Russian institutions which tend not to feature so prominently in other global league tables. The methodology seems to be based on the views of a panel of experts but is pretty opaque. Having said that, many of the universities in the 100 are the same as in the SJTU and THE tables.
Suspect this one won’t catch on.
By far the worst ranking methodology and results for global universities since webometrics. Awful and absolutely unreliable. Don’t even waste your time giving this more than a minute’s glance
Harvard University is ranked as the No. 1 university in QS world university ranking and the ARWU in 2009 but it is only placed at 6th in this league table, even the University of Tokyo is ranked ahead of Harvard.
