Jane White has worked in HE for 25 years based at the University of Bath in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. She is a National Teaching Fellow (2019) with a keen interest in widening access and participation in HE and the founding director of MASH in Bath, a nationally recognised centre of excellence for mathematics and statistics support. She has held a number of internal leadership roles including Director of Teaching, Head of Natural Sciences and Chair of Academic Assembly. Nationally, she chair sTeMaC, a sub-committee of the London Mathematical Society Education Committee aimed at encouraging mathematics students to consider teaching as a career and she is Chair of the EDI committee for the Society for Natural Sciences.
