Val is the Director for Access and Inclusion at the University of Worcester, where she leads the delivery of their Access and Participation work. She also plays a key role in supporting widening participation across the institution. Val chairs the Aimhigher West Midlands UniConnect management group and has previously served as the Aimhigher Regional Coordinator.
Before her university roles, Val worked in Students’ Unions and continues to maintain strong connections with SU officers in her current position. She is a passionate advocate for student participation and democracy, supporting these values in her role as the Deputy Returning Officer (DRO) for Worcester Students’ Union.
