Tim O’Shea is an Academic Advisor at Kortext, and is the former Principal of the University of Edinburgh.
Tim has a PHD in the application of machine learning, and spent 19 years founding and revolutionising digital learning for the Open University, where he became Pro Vice Chancellor. His knowledge spans computer based learning, artificial intelligence, and mathematics, and his academic output includes ten books, 22 BBC television programmes, and over 100 journal articles. He was knighted in 2008 for his contribution to the education sector.
