Sarah is Director of Research, Partnerships and Innovation at the University of Liverpool and was previously Director for the N8 Research Partnership.
Sarah Jackson joined the University of Liverpool in November 2014 as the Director of Research, Partnerships and Innovation. For the previous five years, Sarah was the Director of the N8 Research Partnership, where she led on innovative collaborations on equipment sharing and industry engagement and was also invited by BIS to undertake two secondments, looking at the efficiency and effectiveness of the research base.
Prior to working for the N8, Sarah worked in a number of roles – at the Northwest Development Agency, the University of Manchester and as a graduate trainee at Deloitte.
She has a first class honours in Sociology and an MSc in Innovation Management, both from the University of Manchester, and was a participant on the 2014 Entrepreneurial University Leadership Programme. Sarah’s interests including playing football, walking, watching cricket and being outdoors whenever possible.
