Nick Bennett is CEO and co-founder of Fika, an app designed to help university students build their mental fitness. After his best friend died by suicide in the summer of 2014, Nick Bennett founded Fika – an education technology start-up committed to bringing sustainable emotional education to young people worldwide. Together with students, industry-leading academics and a growing list of higher education institutions, Fika is working to evaluate the impact of regular emotional exercise on students’ wellbeing, attainment and continuation at university. Prior to founding Fika, Nick built and ran a top-100 digital agency, winning multiple industry awards, as well as spending seven years in start-ups, raising finance, building and launching world-class data-science platforms and social networking apps.
