Netta Weinstein is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychology at Cardiff University. She obtained her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rochester in New York, U.S.A., in 2010 with a research emphasis of Social and Motivational Psychology. Her first academic post was as a Lecturer and then Senior Lecturer at the University of Essex, in 2011. She has written extensively about human motivation, well-being, and behaviour. Her research has received media coverage nationally and internationally, resulting in popular magazine reviews (e.g., Scientific American, CNBC; Telegraph), radio (e.g., BBC, NPR), and TV (e.g., ITV) interviews.
