After seven years as the higher education editor for The Australian newspaper, Julie is well known to the sector. During that time, she lead a small team of award-winning journalists who held a well-deserved reputation for the excellence and depth of their coverage.
Before that Julie was editor-in-chief of APN Educational Media and editor of the niche title Campus Review, a small publication with a big reputation for its in-depth coverage.
Following stints at KPMG, the Museum of Australian Democracy and as a freelancer, Julie has returned to what she loves best: drilling down into the detail and consequences of higher education trends and pollcy.
