Emilio Zucchetti is lecturer in Roman history at Royal Holloway, University of London, and chair of the Gramsci Research Network. He works on social conflict in Republican and Early Imperial Rome, and theoretical and methodological approaches for ancient history, with a particular interest in the political thought of Antonio Gramsci, Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe, and Michael Hardt and Toni Negri. His research interests also include historiography, reception, and the history and epistemology of classical studies.
