Amanda Ribeiro is a science policy specialist collaborating with different organisations. She is currently working as science policy intern at the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA), where she helps raise awareness and catalyse change on research assessment and the responsible use of metrics in academia.
She has experience working as a researcher and on a wide range of international cooperation projects. Amanda has served as a program manager for start-ups and innovation, as well as a policy analyst for different sectors within the British and the Swiss governments’ diplomatic missions in Brazil.
Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in international Relations from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and is concluding her master’s degree in Science and Technology Policy at the University of Sussex’ Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), with a Chevening Scholarship 2020-2021 cohort.
