What you’ll be doing
As Senior Consultant for EDI, you’ll lead on the design, development and delivery of high-quality EDI content and solutions.
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be the expert our members turn to for relevant, leading-edge approaches to EDI. Working across a wide variety of assignments, you’ll bring your understanding of the EDI landscape, impactful thought leadership and practical experience of the HE sector together to craft innovative solutions.
In addition, you’ll act as programme director for complex programmes and consultancy projects.
Contributing to the planning and delivery of our annual operational plan is also a vital part of your work — your efforts will help us drive ever-higher standards in higher education.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a highly credible, driven leader with a track record of making an impact in the EDI space. Being able to successfully shape EDI solutions and influence organisational change will be important in this role, as will a contemporary understanding of the HE landscape.
You will have proven experience in design and delivery of EDI-focused programmes, consultancy, and resources, with a particular focus on inclusive approaches within leadership and organisations and working with leaders at all levels, including senior leaders.
Whether you are an EDI generalist, or have a particular focus such as disability, or social mobility you will take a holistic and intersectional approach, recognising the connections and dependencies that support institutional change.
Using your wealth of experience leading change in EDI and in HE, you will be confident in supporting institutions to understand legislative and regulatory requirements and develop policy and practice. You will be adept at building positive relationships with a wide range of people to bring about positive, lasting change.

What do you need
Extensive experience in designing and delivering EDI-related training and consultancy
Experience in managing complex projects.
Knowledge and experience of impactful that solutions and approaches to promote EDI.
Experience in producing evidence-based, high-quality thought leadership.
