This is an exciting time to join Durham University as Senior Community Operations Manager.
The Senior Community Support Manager is a key management position reporting to the Head of Operations and is responsible for the efficient and effective management and operation of all the business and operational functions of a group of Colleges. The role holder will ensure that good practice and continuous improvement are delivered across the Colleges Division in support of the division’s strategic objectives. Each member of the central directorate will have an emphasis of responsibility in one of three designated areas: Processes (Best practice and standardisation), People (HR and Recruitment), and Place (Environment and Estates Liaison) liaising with the relevant Business Partners. The post holder should also be able to take non-strategic decisions in each of the areas when the designated Manager is absent.
