Students’ Union UCL is an organisation that exists to make more happen. We are the representative body for University College London’s (UCL) students, one of the most diverse student communities in the world. We are one of the largest student-led organisations in the UK. We are a charity with over 48,000 members. We provide opportunities for 300 staff and have an annual turnover of more than £10.5m.

We are looking for a Project Coordinator (Active Bystander). This position is a key appointment within our Policy and Research team, working to coordinate our sector-leading Active Bystander Programme which has been running for over seven years and has trained over 35,000 students. The programme is a key enabler for our strategic aim of building vibrant inclusive student communities.

The post holder will liaise with key stakeholders to ensure high student participation, training and managing student workshop leaders, and evaluating the success of the programme, as well as developing bespoke workshops for departments and specific student groups. The successful candidate will also be required to deliver ad-hoc workshops, and training will be provided for this. The role holder must have a passion for ensuring inclusive and safe communities within UCL and other Higher Education Institutions, and an intersectional understanding of harassment, discrimination and hate crimes.

The role is a full-time, fixed term contract for 2 years.
