The Imperial Policy Forum is seeking a Policy & Programmes Manager who will lead in the design and delivery of a programme of work raising the profile and understanding of Imperial’s world-leading AI research to policymakers.

What you would be doing

At a crucial time for our understanding of AI, you will lead on the design and delivery of a programme of work that will maximise the policy impact and influence of Imperial’s world-leading AI research.

You will work closely with the Imperial academic community to maximise the impact and influence of Imperial’s research, and produce engaging and insightful outputs based on this research, targeted towards government and parliamentary audiences. You will build relationships with government, parliamentary and third sector stakeholders and work closely with Public Affairs colleagues on demonstrating the impact strategic technologies like AI can have on wider government priorities.

What we are looking for

An experienced policy professional with an in-depth knowledge of UK AI/tech policy and the broader policymaking environment

A proactive and creative individual able to create impactful relationships, and capitalise on opportunities to develop new projects promoting Imperial’s AI research

Someone who is passionate about the role science can play in supporting policymaking and focused on delivering high-quality impactful outputs
