This new role is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual with research experience who can support the development of robust evaluation strategies that measure the impact of varying interventions.

We are looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to support the development and delivery of our evaluation work. The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will support the collection and collation of data related to student access, engagement, student progression and success (both academic and employment related), and support in the undertaking of analysis to inform us of the evidence and impact of our Access and Participation Funding (Office for Students regulated) and support us in demonstrating the impact of our work across the university to the Office for Students (OfS), and expand on what works across the university to build stronger outcomes and opportunities for students.

To be successful in the role we are looking for someone with excellent evaluation and collaborative skills to work in partnership with the Access and Participation Team, Projects Leads, academics, schools, and colleagues across the university to ensure effective evaluation processes are implemented, developed, and adhered to, evolving evaluation practice in line with OfS requirements.

The person carrying out the role will work dynamically to undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis of multiple sources of data to generate an understanding of what works and where practice can be improved, and to work with colleagues to make recommendations aimed at improving outcomes for students.
