We are looking to recruit a Higher Education Policy Adviser into our Institutional Directorate to contribute to the work of the Council in the area of equality and diversity.
As our equality and diversity champion, you will take the lead on the development of our equality policy framework as well as the implementation of our Equality Scheme and Action Plan. Working closely with higher education partners and key stakeholders, you will drive, deliver and administer policies, ensuring that equality and diversity is embedded within the Council and beyond. To achieve this, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, a confident and positive approach and be able to work effectively with others at all levels. You will also have the ability to analyse information and present the results both verbally and in writing. Your communications will be both clear and accurate, and you will be expected to contribute to discussions in a logical and persuasive way.
Part time applications will be considered and the minimum part time hours possible will be 0.8 FTE worked over a minimum of four days a week.
