Universities UK International helps all UK higher education institutions flourish internationally through its unique ability to represent them and act in their collective interests. It aims to be a credible voice for UK universities internationally which, through expert knowledge, networks and partnerships adds value to what universities can do individually.
Universities UK International is now looking for a Head of European Engagement. This is a pivotal role in our team, leading our engagement within Europe and helping to shape Universities UK’s policy response to the UK’s decision to leave the European Union. You will need experience in developing and influencing policy at national and international levels (preferably in European research or higher education), as well as have the ability to build and maintain excellent networks.
You will have experience in providing strategic advice and delivery through analysing large volumes of complex data from a wide variety of sources. You will need excellent interpersonal skills and show personal credibility in dealing with senior university, UK government, and overseas stakeholders, as well as be able to motivate and manage a small team of policy professionals.
