The role

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Accreditation to lead our Accreditation Team. This senior role combines people management, process oversight and data-informed decision-making to ensure our accreditation work is delivered to a high standard. You’ll manage a small team, oversee the accreditation and inspection process, and support the Accreditation Committee, reporting its activities to the Council (Board of Trustees). You’ll also contribute to BAC’s operational leadership and help shape future improvements.

Person Specification

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field

• Proven experience in managing people and operational processes

• Experience supporting or servicing formal committees

• Strong leadership and team development skills

• Excellent organisational and communication abilities

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities

• Confident using data to inform decisions and improve systems

• Ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
