They will have a passion for the role of higher education in society and will bring experience of leading large, complex and distributed organisations.

The ability to sustain an effective governing body and its committees, and to partner with, engage, support and challenge the Vice-Chancellor and her senior team will be essential. Importantly, the Chair will have creative flair and a forward-thinking, innovative and global outlook, in line with the University’s philosophy.
