Advance HE is seeking a natural collaborator to work with colleagues across the organisation and our global membership base to understand their priorities and evidence the impact of Advance HE services within their institutions.

Managing both institutional relationships and a small team, you will drive our members’ first ethos and use your broad knowledge of the sector to help find members find creative solutions to contemporary challenges.

What you’ll be doing

As Assistant Director of Membership (Engagement & Impact), your main aim will be to ensure Advance HE membership demonstrates impact and value for money for our members globally.

You’ll achieve this by leading work to create more robust, impact evaluation approach and evidence base.

Leading a team of membership account managers you will thrive in the fast-paced and challenging environment of co-creating high quality solutions across a diverse and complex range of sector needs. The ability to focus simultaneously on both the strategic and operational dimensions of our work, you will be leading the day-to-day business of the team, adding value for our members and growing further opportunity for Advance HE.

Who we’re looking for

You will enjoy identifying new solutions and thinking outside of the box to solve problems, building relationships and collaborating on initiatives and having them implemented quickly.

Using your excellent interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to influence at all levels, both internally and externally, translating requirements into impactful solutions that both add value to members and support growth.

You will be experienced at establishing and leading a high performing, distributed team, with the ability to communicate in a way which is professional, approachable, and inspiring.
