The impact of financial support on undergraduate success, and access to postgraduate Education

The Bridge Group is an independent, not for profit policy association promoting social mobility through higher education. The Group regularly hosts policy seminars to debate important issues, and to reach specific recommendations that we share with Government, universities, employers and influencers. These events are free to attend.

This seminar is on the impact of financial support on undergraduate success, and access to postgraduate Education. With evidence from Dr Paul Wakeling, who is leading on the analysis of the HEFCE Postgraduate Support Scheme, and Dr Gill Wyness, co-founder of the ‘Economics of Higher Education Forum’, and currently undertaking research into the impact of bursaries in undergraduate success.
