GuildHE Annual Conference 2015
The GuildHE Annual Conference and AGM 2015 will be held on Tuesday 24th – Wednesday 25th November at the University Arena, University of Worcester – a spectacular venue which won the prestigious ‘Buildings that Inspire’ award at this year’s Guardian University Awards 2015.
This year’s programme will explore the higher education and political landscape in the wake of the General Election and in the lead up to the Comprehensive Spending Review, which takes place on the Wednesday of the event.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Francis Davis, CEO, Southern Policy Centre
- Megan Dunn, President, National Union of Students
- Andrew McGettigan, Author of the The Great University Gamble
There will also be a panel discussion on the Green Paper including: Yvonne Hawkins (Director – Institutions, HEFCE), Douglas Blackstock (Interim CEO, QAA), Steve Denton (Director of Education, HEA) and Stephen Jones (Deputy Director, BIS).
