Alex Wilshaw

Programme leader

Alex Wilshaw is a Senior Lecturer in evolutionary anthropology and Programme Leader for forensic anthropology at Liverpool John Moores University. He has worked in higher education for 15 years, teaches human osteology, and specialises in late-Pleistocene/Holocene evolution of modern humans in East Africa.

In addition, Alex uses statistical methods and large data sets to carry out institutional and cross-institutional research into the educational outcomes of underrepresented student groups and those at risk of inequality in UK HE.
