Alastair Smith is a transdisciplinary academic focused on socially and environmentally positive change and transformation. After over ten years working within UK higher education, including as a University College Union committee member, and most recently Associate Professor of Global Sustainable Development at the University of Warwick, Alastair is now founding Co-Director and Chair of Teaching and Learning at the Community for Alternative Thought, Learning and Action (ATLA), based in Coventry (UK) and the Pyrenees Oriental (France).
