We are now seeking to appoint a Deputy Registrar to lead the University’s many activities relating to the student experience, and deputise effectively and consistently for the Registrar. The Deputy Registrar will work closely with the PVC Education and Student Experience and the Faculty Operations Directors in creating an integrated, informed, responsive, and excellence-focused approach to optimising the student experience.

With overarching leadership responsibility for Student Services, Careers and Employability, Sport, Campus Life and Residential Life, the Deputy Registrar will be working with an outstanding team of senior managers to embed planned cultural change across these services, centrally and in schools and faculties, to create the co-ordinated, effective and high quality service delivery expected by our students and staff.

Candidates will bring experience of leading relevant professional services in a complex setting and will be able to evidence a track record of change management and service improvement. Candidates will also bring an in-depth understanding of the developing priorities relating to student support, welfare and wellbeing.
