The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) is to safeguard standards and improve the quality of UK higher education wherever it is delivered around the world.
We are looking for a Quality Specialist to lead and support QAA’s engagement and quality assurance activity across the UK higher education sector.
You will work closely with our Reviewers, managing their involvement in engagement and assurance activities and ensuring they are fully apprised of their role and responsibility. You will also act as a first point of contact with designated providers and will develop and maintain an effective relationship will key contacts within the provider.
The role requires an awareness of the content, role and practical application of the baseline regulatory requirements for quality in UK higher education to enable you to be successful. Strong organisation skills and the ability to making sound judgements is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build, maintain and make effective use of relationships both internal and external to QAA.
This is a full time, 12 month fixed term role based in our Gloucester or Cardiff office and will involve travel throughout the UK.
