The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research has oversight of Deakin’s research portfolio including coordinating the University’s research strategy, building Deakin’s international research reputation, capability and expertise in areas critical to Deakin’s goals, delivering research services and support for academics and research students, strategies for research engagement with business and industry, all aspects of institutional research reporting, research promotion and communication and supporting the research vision and direction of the University. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research holds overall responsibility for the University’s research services and for the Institute for Frontier Materials and the Institute for Intelligent Systems Research and Innovation.

 

We are seeking to fill the position of Pro Vice-Chancellor Strategic Partnerships, in the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research. The successful person will provide centralised leadership in developing and managing strategic partnerships and related professional activities across the whole University, particularly in relation to research and industry engagement. The position will also interact regularly with other staff within the University, their peers in other Universities, both nationally and internationally, and with community, professional and industry organisations at an executive level.
