Birkbeck is lucky to have a well-informed, involved and committed constituency of alumni who support the College in a variety of ways through their knowledge, skills, connections and their financial support. Working closely with the all members of the Development (fundraising) and Alumni team, the post holder will support a range of activities across the team, which will include our new Student Ambassador programme.
You will be required to be the first point of contact for Development and Alumni enquiries and advise former students on alumni benefits. You will also be responsible for data inputting and data cleansing, as well as processing invoices and making room bookings.

You should have experience of working with relationship-based databases together with experience of working in a customer-focused or membership role and providing outstanding customer service. You will need excellent keyboard and data entry skills, together with experience of spreadsheet packages and excellent time management, organisational skills and positive demeanour.
