2nd November 2017

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional and highly motivated individual to work for The Open University, the UK’s largest teaching and research university.  Working across all relevant areas of the University you will support the delivery of the University’s research governance and curriculum partnerships activity.

You will be working secretary to the University Research Committee and have responsibility for preparing agendas, briefing notes and reports for this and other committees in its substructure.  This will require the ability to effectively work with others and excellent organisational skills to ensure the timely scheduling of committee business, and distribution of committee papers.

You will provide advice on relevant policies and governance processes, and disseminate good practice in this area.

Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy will be required to maintain and manage relevant governance and quality information, and manage review schedules in relation to the University’s portfolio of taught curriculum partnerships.

In addition to this, excellent and effective communications skills are essential to convey key points clearly to a range of audiences and across a range of media.
